Tell me some of the best Album covers and why

Personal ones on the top of my head (There are probably many better, but I can't think of many)

If you need me to tell you what album this is....well I will be very dissapointed

There is just something about the simplicity of this album cover, and it's unmistakable orange/red block on the right. Dooms mask looks dope as well. Contrasts so much from the typically poor quality of hip hop covers

It's become an icon that's been replicated and remade to fit all sorts of brands and media. Also, it's got a neat refernce to Elvis Presley in the font.

That's all I can think of, I'm sure there are better.

I don't like busy artwork or anything weird and try hard (i.e. the artwork on alot of metal/alternative albums). I like simple covers.

The only one that comes to mind was shot on a bad day for Bushwick Bill. Where he lost his right eye when the gun he wanted his girlfriend to kill him with went off in a scuffle. It's a great pic.

A bit, but not much. It was more a shock. If it had been someone of a different race, that might have been different. But since he was trying to force his girlfriend to kill him, it passed by fairly quickly. Glad it didn't work, I enjoy his flow.
