I like it, too. I prefered the College Dropout, though
Off the top off my head... Rubber Soul, Revolver, At War with the Mystics, 36 Chambers, Stillmatic, Food and Liquer, Guero, Monster, Evil Empire.
Best ever? I don't know, Illmatic?
My favorite ever is Food & Liquor...
tbone29
good choice it's in my top ten of all time right behind illmatic and ready to die with reasonable doubt at number 1
"The Joshua Tree" by U2, "The Beautiful Letdown" by Switchfoot, or "Cities" by Anberlin.
Graduation is a great one, too.
Morningrise by Opeth.
Atheos-Arkhaios
I support this post 100%
I'd like to add In Absentia by Porcupine Tree.

The answer to this question will be highly subjective no matter what the angle. I think to be fair, you'd have to seperate this into genres and then define what "best" means. Maybe you meant favorite. That's another story if that's the case.
My favorite album is Pink Floyd's Animals.DeeJayInphinity
My favorite album by Pink Floyd is Animals. Great choice.
As far as choosing the best album ever, I would have to seperate it by artist. I love music too much to just say there is one album to rule them all. Give me an artist and I'll give you my humble opinion on what their best work(s) are.
Some albums in my personal top five are Blow by Blow/Jeff Beck, Headhunters/Herbie Hancock, Miles High/Miles Davis, and Tio Bitar/Dungen...which even then, are fluctual.
Ugh Kanye as best album ever? Seriously?
I mean I get the whole "everyones likes their own stuff", but even in terms of the rap genre it seems to me that Kanye is pretty damn lame.....
Anyways, my two favs happen to be "Nevermind" by Nirvana and "Blackwater Park" by Opeth.

Actually I have it and did listen:P
It is great which is to be expected of Opeth, but really I still feel as Blackwater Park is just the ultimate Opeth experience and quite possibly the best musical experience ever.
The only reason it gets competition from Nevermind is because just how important that album has been to me and because it is also a DAMN good album to begin with.

BWP is a great album, but I guess there's something about morningrise that just strikes me. Whenever someone i talk to asks what album the should start at, i always point them to BWP because it encompasses their entirety of work really well.
It actually was my third fave album until i listened to The Mantle by Agalloch 8)

[QUOTE="Cerussite"]Allright, I'll print out that picture and show it to the music store clerks and hopefully I'll get the right album..The album name is in the URL. I guess it pays off to check image properties.Listen to this album or your opinion will be forever incorrect.
