I know there are a few bands that are better, but it's hard not to name Tool the best band on this list when people are saying things like Fall out boy and yellowcard. Both good bands, but Tool is way better than both.

Joy Division is my favorite old band. They started the New wave 80's trend.

I also love The Killers, but they havent been around long enough to be called "the Best" yet.

I consider the Beatles the Most influencial band of all time, not necessarilly the greatest.

Geez, I mean at least in N'Sync Justin Timberlake was still a man. These guys just need the vaginas (I know their not interested in that body part) and they'll pretty much be women.

I have 3 dt albums, and in my opinion they come nowhere close to opeth.

a lot of times the lyrics don't really flow or feel contrived. and the solos and such sometimes get long, boring and repetitive.
