Japan IMO even though i live in teh US...everything is just plain better over theredarkmagician06Really? They have to work longer hours and the pressure is very stressful.
[QUOTE="Tolwan"]This coming from a nation where you're not allowed to make a movie which is anti-bush or anti-war? :| And last time i checked, i live in a nation where i'm allowed to say as i wish, practice any religion i wish. And i know our government is a HELL of a lot more open and democratic than the american equivalent. But whatever.Quite honestly, the US. And not just out of blind patriotism either, but because it is the last country to protect its high moral standards and ethics, to protect all religion from persecution. The US is a country willing to fight for it's ideals, protect it's fundamental beliefs, etc. etc.
You will find these qualities near unexsistent in other countries.

Agreed. The U.S is not as democratic as they think they are. Not to bang up on Americans, but democracy is held in quite a different regard there than it is up north in Canada.

Well then they must have amazing self control, because the crime rate in Japan is almost nonexistent compared to the US. And they deal with more pressure? You'd think having more pressure and stress on your average citizen would cass crime rates to increase?

Pressure has little to do with crime rate. Crime rate is more dependent on socio-economic factors which Japan does not have. Japan has a relatively homogenous population whereas the US is made up of very diverse and distinct and occasionally conflicting groups.
If it wasn't for the ridiculously high cost of living I would say the U.K, otherwise I'm going to have to side with Japan.nickmag
