Gregorian Chant was earlier than the 1300s. By the 1300s, there was a more evolved form of music, and near the end of midevil music.

Good choice.....Good choice Indeed. Many great composers were alive and then. I agree, though, it's tied with early 20th century. Dmitri Shostakovich is awesome.....And So is Sergei Prokofiev....
