I'm going to bed right now so I won't be able to read your response. But could you tell me who this amazing wing chun fighter was? The only record of Bruce Lee fighting a Kung Fu practicioner that I can find says that the persons name is unknown. And if they didn't know his name there's no way he was that talented, so I'm assuming there must be someone else.Robertoeygiven the fact that the Chinese actually send this guy out to defeat Bruce Lee, this ONE guy, i think its pretty self-evident that despite him not having any official track record, he would have been a master of his art. Keep in mind that the chinese were very secluded from the outside world back then, hence there is little to no information to be found on Lees adversary. This is also the reason why they decided to send a challenger to Lee in the first place, he was spreading a knowledge of which the Chinese found should not be spread. They wanted to keep their martial arts to themselves. If that isnt enough for you tho, id like to point out that there were countless eyewitnesses of which whole documentaries have been based on, saying and portraying Bruce Lee fighting numerous challengers that came from all over China, whenever he was out shooting a movie. These were not people that were out to get their teeth kicked in, these were people who thought their excellence as martial artists would prove them better than Bruce Lee. People claiming Bruce Lee was overblown as an martial artist just doesent know the history behind him. He was and will forever be one of the greatest, despite of what you or i might think of him. He managed to prove that all by himself.

There are also rumors that the chinese may have had something to do with his death (poison). They didnt like him teaching westerners at all.

Martial arts does teach alot of discipline. You also learn how far your body can really go.
hahaha
well I meant in terms of physical cababilites like pushing through that mental barrier where you think your tired and you want to give up.

haha, ah well, dont worry about it.
Post Serra loss George St. Pierre is looking pretty driven/undefeatable, I think he is going to destroy BJ Penn at UFC 94, I think losing to Serra broke something in him, and it made him insane, and even more devoted to training and fighting.Andrew_XavierHe said it was probably the greatest thing to happen to him. He drove him even harder to train like a madman and leave everything in the cage.
