A hard choice, but I would have to go with "The Godfather" series.

That was a really good one. I am more about the comedies though, and I would have to say Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I like topsemag55's sig. I loved the Underworld movies. I own all 3 of them.

The baby scene was probably the most brutal thing I've ever seen in film... I take that back. The scene where they make the two lovers kiss was absolutely brutal.

Pfft! more than just trees. It's about genocide and man's cruel inhumanity towards those who can't defend themselves. It's about the commercialism of traditions and how that has made everyone deaf and blind to the suffering of others not like them. OSCAR material I tell you.

Oscar-baiting is what you mean. Look what such scenes did for Jodie Foster getting her a Best Actress Oscar.

As much as I love Eastwood's westerns, my top favorite of his would have to be Dirty Harry. Eastwood personified Harry Callahan in a way no other actor could have.:)

Dirty Harry is great, but I think that Eastwood has better movies. Really, I think (in terms of movies others have directed) that all of Leone's The Man with No Name trilogy is better (especially TGTBTU), and (in terms of movies Eastwood has directed (and in some cases acted in)) that Unforgiven, Mystic River, and Million Dollar Baby were all definitely better.

That doesn't, however, stop Dirty Harry from being a highly entertaining movie. :D

Understandable, the cat attack scene still makes me cringe at how bad it looks, but I can forgive the film since the rest is so good to me. Plus the film inspired me to write my own vampire story so that helps:P

Million Dollar Baby really tugged at the heartstrings. I actually had a lump in my throat at the ending.

I'll go on the record and say I haven't yet seen an Eastwood film I haven't enjoyed.:)

Neither have I, actually. Some, I think, are only mediocre or only a step above that, but there are a lot of fantastic ones as well.

Well, my favorite film of all time is "The Wizard." Since that technically doesn't count as the best film I've ever seen, I'd say that the best film is either "Stand by Me" or "Jaws."
