just like how Genji: Days of the Blade was based of actual japanese battles...with giant enemy crabs

That movie 'Alive' where the plane crashed in the Andes with that soccer (football) team and they survived by eating the deceased. Eventually a few of them decided to make dash for help and it paid off because everyone else thought they were dead. That movie was good.

Its weird no one mentioned The Goodfellas, that movie is actually based on true events

Oh and i forgot to mention The Departed too, it's actually based on a real life irish mobster in Boston

I forgot about Letters from iwo jima, in terms of war movies its one of the best. Film-Guy
My vote's probably going to go with Letters from Iwo Jima. Fantastic movie. It should have won the Best Picture Oscar that year.
