I really want to see Noferatu now.Juggernaut140
I highly recommend it. Should be easy to find, it is a silent film but it is very eerie. I also recommend you find Vampyr, which has just as much eerieness as Nosferatu only it is alot weirder. I am kinda surprised that nobody has mentioned the vampires from that classic 80s film Fright Night. The Lost Boy's while being a bit cheesy is also worthy of being mentioned. Another more odd film I want to add is The Hunger, which is a Lesbian vampire film with David Bowie.

I'm like completely fascinated with Nosferatu even though I've never seen the movie before. He's just a really evil, creepy looking creature.Max Schreck as Nosferatu, his role is the only vampire to scare the absolute crap out of me. One of the best vampire movies ever made, unrivalled in my opinion and haunting. I still get the image in my head. When did that movie come out, 1922? Amazing...This is Bram Stoker's Dracula, if he had a mustache it would be the perfect Dracula based on Stoker's description. Toriko42
The mustache would ruin his creepyness, might make him look silly. Funny how a vampire movie made in 1922 can still creep people out today.
Lina Leandersson as Eli in Let the right one in
Interview With The Vampre and Let The Right One In are the best imo.

You should see Near Dark, that has one of the best vampires in movie history. The main vampire in 30 days of night was really creepy too.
I love the Blade movies but it deffinately goes progressively downhill from the 1st one. Blade > Blade II > Blade Trinity. I also like the Underworld movies. trodeback
I actually prefer Blade 2 over Blade 1. Blade 2 has Ron Perlman as the bad guy and has a much better director.

Blade 2 also had Nomak, who was all kinds of awesome.
The best movie vampire is this guy:

You can watch it free here, it's in the public domain.
1. The head baddie in 30 Days of Night...you listed his name but I cant remember it. I loved that movie because it was almost a return the traditional Nosferatu type of vampire. None of this Underworld type aristocracy, and none of the silly romance. Just the wholesale slaughter of humans because theyre food. His black eyes, screams, teeth, and pale skin...its just awesome.
2. Kirsten Dunst in Interview with the Vampire. I dont know how old she was, like 13 or so? But jeeeeez, she was so creepy. And tormented. The whole concept behind her being a vampire is that she was turned when she was a child, and as a result will never grow into adulthood and experience those things. She does some pretty gnarly things too.
3. Wesley Snipes as Blade. Badass half-vampire vampire slayer that subscribes to the way of the warrior/bushido.
4. Gary Oldman as Dracula. He was so great in the movie, and the romance story was really well done. You felt sympathy for him because, imo, his human nature constantly conflicted with his vampire nature.
5. Vampires in From Dusk til Dawn. While no great acting was done by any of the vampires imo, the portrayal was great. Animals, demons...anything but human.
6. The girl vampire from Bordello of Blood. Very, very cheesy movie but she was awesome. Again, I appreciated this because she was more of a hungry animal than a guilt-plagued tragic figure. But she knew how to get her meal and she used her looks and seduction to get it. Plus I just love cheese and any actor that contributes to the cheesiness of a movie I like lol.

You read the book? She's bloody five in the book! And she is having this sort of relationship with Louis, I was reading it like "dude, thats hardcore".
My favourite is Lestat, but I prefer the book version of him. He is cold, ruthless, charming, comedic, you just gotta love him. Much more fun than Armand, god he bored me to tears. At least Louis had that personal struggle with his humanity and Lestat was just awesome, but Armand had no substance to his character, he was lifeless.
