I live in a town called Reading in the UK. We, as a town, host a fairly diverse music festival simply titled, Reading Festival.

I love festivals and have been to a few different ones in the UK and plan to go to benicassim in Spain next year.

Anyway, heres this years Reading lineup. If you know of any better festivals post them here.

Well reading is the oldest poular music festival still in existance, and glastonbury is probably the most famous.

I've never seen the apeal of festivals. Being sat in a field for 3 days watching a bunch of bands - some of them which I probably don't like seems a bit pointless to me. Especialy if the weather is bad.

You win. I'm kinda dissapointed in this year's line up though. Killswitch Engage and Hatebreed? As I Lay Dying? That type of music isn't supposed to be in Wacken. Plus, where the hell is In Flames this year?:|

They needed Napalm Death and Bolt Thrower, to make it the best for me. I hate majority of these bands though, other years it was better.

Waken takes the cake, but In my area they have the 'lunatic luau' which is pretty fantastic, they get a lot of big name bands: korn, godsmack, disturbed, slipknot, etc. and some lesser known bands and some local ones.

best thing is, tickets start at 10 bucks :D

The current In Flames doesn't belong at that festival either. Duh. At least they got one thing right.

I would take out more than half of those bands on the bill for Wacken. They should have added more underground and old school death metal and even black metal, maybe some more thrash too... But CARCASS! CARCASS!... CARCASS!!!
