best of I Am Legend

rite now that is the best movie ever made imo anyway. its jus a plain great thriller mixed wit some comedy. my fav part is when one of the manochins (spelling) was moved to a different spot an Robert starts yelling at it. Fred!!! Howd you get there!!! lmoa one of the best parts of the whole movie

I thought Will Smith played his role superbly. Also I think I Am Legend was a great movie. Not the best ever made, but an awesome movie.

I like Will Smith as an actor. But it seemed they changed the movie to fit him. I don't know maybe its just me.fillini

I'm Legend should've had another 30 minutes added. What happened between the helicopter evacuation and his pad turning into a lab and fortress? 20 minutes of that and 10 more minutes of crapy monsters. First point of view at night for the monsters as they begin to develope thought.

And don't tell me he didn't know they could climb. So why didn't he have shudders on the upstairs windows. And you wouldn't have a 12 gauge shotgun in the house at that point?

i have an i think the movie shoulda followed the book more (especially when the girl was one of them in the book)but not evryone who watches the movie has read the book so they wouldnt know how the monsters evolved

Will smith is in it so they can make money off the movie, why would a movie with a $150 million budget have rather dissapointing special effects, especially compared to something such as The Host (Awesome special effects), the CGI looks like digital creations (You notice the animals aren't very real, and the Mutants look like cartoons), as for the best movie ever, no, not even movie of the year, it is good, but not great, there are much better films out this year, such as Once, La Vie En Rose, No Country for Old men, ratatouille, and (personally, I love this movie) Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End.

whoa now...I Am Legend is one thing. But Pirates 3?! That movie was just plain terrible.

They shouldn't had put the scenes with the Helicopter, as we shouldn't know what will happen to them via images, just say they died, and move on. Movies are meant to amaze,engage and entertainus, not to horify us, do we really want to see them die during the helicopter. Also ifsomething is wrong andthe mutants were coming inside to kill him, he would had made ametal panic room to barricade himself until they go away.

I think it was to show that he is kinda going crazy now, hence the "IF YOUR REAL YOU BETTER SAY SOMETHING!"

I Am Legend was a great movie. Will Smith did one of the most difficult things an actor can do. He acted a whole movie by himself (there were a few small parts here and there people played) kind of like in "Castaway." I'm not really sure why people wouldn't get the manachin part. I liked the ending but what didn't make sense to me was that he could have gone in the little cubby thing with the girl and boy and then taken the pin out of the grenade, closed the door thing and let the grenade blow up the mutated human things without killing himself. But the suicide thing made for a more dramatic movie and I liked it.:cry:

Overall it was one of the best movies of 07.

As for the movie, not the best movie ever imo, but i enjoyed it. Was dissapointed by the length (i thought it was too short) and by the ending.. just felt rushed. The movie was at it's peak one minute, then the next minute it's finishing. Other than these two points i really enjoyed the movie.

I hated it. I found Will Smith to be incredibly annoying; not because of his acting, but simply because there were too many "classic" Smith lines that had no purpose other than to pander to the lowest common denominator, which seems to be the overall theme of the movie. I Am Legend is a great book and the movie started off as an deep, interesting look at the life of Robert Neville (Smith's character). It soon degraded into what can best be described as 28 Days Later meets Independence Day, in the sense that it was a cool idea (28 Days Later) ruined by a poorly written script purely designed to line the pockets of those involved (Independence Day). Add in one of the most cliched endings ever, and I Am Legend comes across as one steaming turd. Do yourself a favour, and instead of spending money on I Am Legend, go buy 28 Days Later.PBSnipes

i was playing socom today and someone said the exactsame thing

I actually thought it was an alright movie all in all. Now i haven't read the book, so I'm not sure how much of it they changed. But the ending did make my bowels churn. If I could have changed one thing, I'd have removed the girl. Or maybe made her the mannequin. Other than that, I thought it was really well made, and quite a bit scary too. The fact that there was basically no music in it just intensified the experience so much more. One of Will's best performances, althought I really can't brag about knowing most of his work.
