whats the best program out there that helps you to record (whether just audio or video) lecturs during class? whether it being a program on the computer, using your phone to record or using a tape recorder.

Record a video with your phone? Just stick it on your desk, and let it go.

I have never actually used it but from my understanding OneNote records not only whatever is coming in through your speakers but keeps it in time with what you are actually writing in your notes. As such, you are able to more quickly find when the professor said what when looking through your notes. The program is also excellent at keeping your notes ordered. As for me, I simply type my notes into Evernote. Through it I can easily sync all of my notes it to my other devices such as my Kindle Fire, Desktop, and iPod Touch with the click of a button.

Just type down the important stuff.

If you try to simply record classes when tests come around you'll be filtering through a ***** load of "notes"

No idea, but make sure you're actually allowed to record the lectures. None of my professors allow their lectures to be recorded.

Yeah, most professors upload their notes to some site, but I still write all of the notes, it helps you remember them.

Ditto. Keeps me busy, and in case I don't stupid that well, at least I copied em, read em, and viewed em three times.
