[QUOTE="Ace_WondersX"][QUOTE="MrPraline"]Jedi Mind Tricks, The Demigodz, Army Of The Pharaohs, OuterspaceOrlando_Magic

Jedi Mind Tricks are ok from what i've heard, but people tell me that I have to listen to Violent By Design to appreciate them.

Stoupe's production is incredible but I'm not a big fan of Vinnie Paz's rhymes.

"Sacrifice"

"I Against I"

I cannot stand Vinnie paz. And as I have looked back your point from a previous thread is right, his wack skills made jus allah look better than he is.

I don't think I've seen anyone post these very underappreciated groups: Goodie Mob, Black Star, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Onyx.

Buck_Hotep

I'm a Goodie Mob stan so I definitely listed them earlier :) Their first two albums are cIassics. Soul Food is pretty much THE definitive southern hip-hop album.

i said Onyx, and i'm a big fan of Bone Thugz, but there are others that i enjoy more. i'd put Outkast before Bone, but both are very deserving of a shout out on this thread. i don't care for goodie mob, and never listened to much black star

heres a little bump in the thread. if you could have one of your favorite rap artists do an album with the RZA as the producer who would it be. obviously you can't say one of the Wu members. i would like to hear an album with Eminem rapping over the RZA's beat's that would be to sick. i'm not sure if Em has ever had the RZA produce any of his tracks, but i'm talking about a full album. were all used to Em rapping with Dre's beats, but the RZA is just so different. maybe one day...yeah right this willnever happen:x

RZA? Nas, Jay-Z, Canibus, or maybe Scarface.

What about Wu Affiliates? Then I would pick Trife Da God or Hell Razah

One of them sticks out like a sore thumb... and is ironically the only one of those groups that I've seen live.

Biggie probably. They already showed great chemistry on Long Kiss Goodnight. That beat sounds like it came straight off Liquid Swords. I also think Biggie would be a good fit for RZA's more cinematic type production from something like Only Built 4 Cuban Linx as well.

But back in 1993 right when 36 Chambers dropped, and RZA had that raw, gritty, minimalist sound, I'd love to hear Buckshot.

And I figured I'd show some love for Black Moon, Heltah Skeltah, and Smif-N-Wessun since no one has mentioned them yet.

Definitely. And I'm a pretty big Naledge supporter, but Kidz in the Hall has a long way to go to be in the same cIass as those other groups.

Canibus would be a great choice...Jigga maybe...Nas would destroy RZA's newerbeats but his older harder hitting beats would give Nas a run for his money. i say this because Nas usually uses a softer or more gentle beat than what you will find on the Wu's earlier albums...i'm not a fan of Scarface, but i think he'd fit very well.

of course the Wu Affiliates can be chosen. i was thinking of saying that in my original post, but didn't think it would matter much.

i said Em earlier because i would enjoy an album where Mr Mathers was a bit more serious and harder hitting. maybe a track with GZA and Em battling one another or even better a 6 minute story with a Wu beat.

Ice Cube and Tupac are my personal favorites. NWA (which happens to include Ice Cube) is pretty good, but really, Tupac is the best.

Call me Captain Obvious for hyping Tupac, but he deserves the glory he gets. Very deep thinker and artist that dude is.

My fav rapper is 2pac
And apparently, he had plans to work with WuTang (including RZA) on a album titled Euthanasia.

I dont know how it would turn out, but I would have loved to hear 2pac and Wutang together

http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/news/id.7523/title.2pac-wanted-to-work-with-the-wu

all i can say is wow. seeing names like Queen Latifah, Warren G, Coolio, RZA and Method Man makesme hate the fact that Pac was shot even more. too bad because that stuff would have been great.

Nine was cool. He's got one of the most distinct voices in hip-hop: Ova Confident (Remix)

But yeah, Buckshot's always been the little dude with the big voice. That was his trademark along with being super aggressive on the mic. However, he could also tone things down too: I Got Cha Opin (Remix)

"The Struggle Continues" would've been an interesting joint with Pac, Kam, Smif-N-Wessun on Beatminerz production. I heard that Tupac + Boot Camp Clik album came out a few months ago, what do you know about that because its been long unreleased. Is it really out? That album has always been an interesting topic because BCC was one of the few NYC's crews Tupac was down with and both of them had beef with Biggie.

Tupac & Buckshot- "Brotherz At Arms"

Can't help but think of how interesting that song with Scarface and G Rap sounds too. R.I.P. to Johnny J.

Definately Wu-Tang, although they've fallen off considerably as of late. 8 Diagrams was a serious disappointment. Speaking of rap groups, where there hell is a new Tribe Called Quest? :?JustPlainLucas
Phife has diabetes or something so they said they won't do anymore ATCQ albums. Q-tip has an album out the is extremely dope IMO. My favorite Hip-Hop groups are; A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, OutKast, The Pharcyde, and the Mighty Wu-tang Clan. No Blackstar love (Mos Def & Kweli)?

Wu-Tang, Pharsyde, The Roots, Lord's of the Underground, WC, DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. First to come to mind.
