Best recent war movie?

Its a tough choice, but these are my favorites:D

Letters from Iwo Jima

Enemy at the gates

Jarhead

Tears of the sun

Black Hawk Down

Tae Guk Gi: the brotherhood of the war

the hunting party

We were soldiers

flags of our fathers ( not as good as iwo jima, but still good)

the great raid

Downfall

most of my friends thought jarhead was dull and didnt have any good battle scenes:(Film-Guy

Did anyone here see Black Book? its about a young jewish girl who has to try and befriend a nazi captain to escape from a camp, the guy who made robocop made itFilm-Guy

Letters from Iwo Jima, was by far the best out of those. Bass7

its not just the movies in my list, think of some others

Downfall and TaeGukGi were great. But TaeGukGi was more of a drama. Saints and Soldiers wasn't bad for being a PG-13 war film.GettingTired

ive never heard of saints and soldiers, it looks pretty good though

i didnt mind there being no battle scenes, I thought it made it mroe personal, not jsut guys running around getting shot. It was a nice change. But I think Three Kings is a better gulf war movie:D
