[QUOTE="Def_Jef88"]Chester BenningtonDef_Jef88

I dont think so but if its true im gonna cry.

I didn't find anything but I found out that he was addicted to cocaine and he was sexually abused by a close family friend.

I already knew that hence the song "Easier to run"

I don't look for meaning behind the songs. I knew about the abuse, but not about the cocaine.

:o
LP easily has some of the deepest song ive ever heard

 listen to SOAD if you want to hear deep lyrics.

I perfer good music, sorry.

 are you calling LP better than SOAD?

Im calling ANYTHING bettter than SOAD.

meh i dont care. anyone who likes LP doesn't like REAL music. SOAD is something you either love or hate anyway.

Just cause a band is popular doesent mean they arent good

I didnt say that. i dont like LP because its just whining about emo stuff.

Like being molested as a kid.... >_>

Maiden are better than LP and SOAD combined:)

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Mike Majesvic or Sebastian Bach.   Just in case you are wondering, Mike Majesvic was the vocalist for the hair metal band Steelheart, and did most of the vocals for the movie "Rockstar" that came out a few years back.  And of course Sebastian Bach, the infamous lead vocalist for the Metal band Skid Row.  Both of those guys had the range from distinct lows to shrill high close to C.  Most supremely impressive.....they get my vote.  Their are many great vocalist out there like Bruce Dickinson, Jon Bon Jovi, and so on, but the two mentioned above are huge stand outs.  I'm sorry for you if you didn't get the opportunity to hear them.

This was going to be my first choice too - is he only being mentioned on page 3 of this thread!? And yes, Iron Maiden are better than SOAD and Linkin Park combined, although I do listen to those bands when I'm in the mood.

1. Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) 2. Steve Perry (ex Journey -'96) Steve Augeri (ex Journey -'07) also has a great voice. No question about it. :)

I'm a Howard Jones fan myself, but I also have to go give it up to Bjorn "Speed" Strid from Soilwork.

[QUOTE="Vfanek"] Axl Rose - (Real) Guns n' Roses (Let's face it, 90's Roses blew you and everyone away)

No, GNR was good for Slash even though GNR was pretty much %75 about Axl (in terms of fame and stardome). As for the best rock vocals, I have to go with Robert Plant and Roger Daltrey (even though nobody will agree with me on Daltrey).

Dani Filth. No vocalist can match the vocal ranges he has created with CoF.

No love for Sebastian Bach from Skid Row?  The man has pipes.  So good, in fact, that he was on Broadway in Jeckyll and Hyde.
