Family Guy is great and no surprise people hate the newer seasons since it is hip to hate everything new and look at the past as though it was perfection

No it's just that shows run their course eventually, like the The Simpsons you can't keep up the quality for 24 seasons with 24 episodes a season. Family Guy has become predictable and the jokes no longer work. That is actually a problem with a lot of American shows, rather than doing a couple of high quality seasons, they drag them on until they get cancelled. The rest of the shows end up getting cancelled after or during the first season and never get resolved. They need to look at the UK two seasons with 6-12 episodes then nuke that mother. That way everyone remembers them fondly, the quality remains high, story lines remained focused and everything gets resolved. Only South Park currently works because they tackle current issues, by making the episodes relevant to that weeks news or whatever has happened.

American Dad. Strangely it's the most grounded, and it's the show Seth MacFarlane has the least influence on.

Family Guy. Weird thing.....my family shares the names of 3 of the family members and we resemble them in many ways. It's like the show is modeled after my family so much it's spooky.

So you're fat, have a fat Dad, have a sister that's so ugly even the family doesn't like her, and a hot mom?

Roger makes American Dad amazing. I like it way better than Family Guy, although I enjoy family guy to. I never watched Cleveland Show so I can't comment on that.

it's easy to think that, but alot of parts of the show have changed....... it's really mediocre compared to the first couple seasons.

Ehh but when you compare it to the downfall that The Simpsons has been on, I guess I might be a bit too kind but I dont think I really have laughed at a Simpsons episode in years and I always enjoy Family Guy.
