Film-Guy
him, Billy Joel, Elton John, David Bowie, Lennon/McCartney, etc.
I thought somebody else wrote most of david bowie's songs? I'm probably wrong there.
You're thinking Elton John. he has Bernie Taupin as an ace in his sleeve.
My favorites
Nathan Gearhart
Freddy Mercury
Michael Kiske
John Henry(Before Demons, I hate that CD with a passion)
Trevor Strnad
[QUOTE="Film-Guy"]Does anyone else know who Gruff Rhys is?Lockedge
Guy from Super Furry Animals, right? Scottish lad. Had an albumCandylion which was quite a special album. :)
I thought he welsh? Close enough, He kinda reminds me of a mix between Beck and Damon Albarn from blur. I like his wacky songs and how most of of the stuff he does sounds unique. Have you heard of his new project Neon Neon? Its an 80s style synth pop group, check out youtube to see some of their stuff.

Could be Welsh. I get confused sometimes. :P
And you sold me on the new side project the moment you typed "80s style synth". Yum!
