What is, in your opinion, the best 2nd album released by an artist? Tell us your favorite track on that album too!
My favorite at the moment is Frank Black's Teenager of the Year. It's a lot more direct than his first solo album and you can feel his sound has taken a departure from Pixies without sacrificing what made the band so great in the first place. Key track : Headache.
Sigur Ros: Agaetis Byrjun
The whole album is my favorite song, but probably song #9, the title track.
A Tribe Called Quest: The Low End Theory
My favorite song is probably Check the Rhime.
The Killers - Sam's Town
Amazing album, by far the best from them. I never understood why the fans hated it so much.

Yah, that's my favorite Killers album, makes my top 5 list of favorite albums. Admittedly I didn't like it initially, but the more I listened to it, the more I liked it.

But I would say the best sophomore album of all time is
Genius, life changing album indeed.
I still can't fathom how they managed to move from such an awful album as Pablo Honey to The Bends.
