[QUOTE="worlock77"]I have to say that being at a baseball game is quite fun. Watching it on TV, not so much.Baseball. Nothing else comes close as far as I'm concerned.

True. It's a shockingly different experience.Â

Which is why I don't pay attention to the NBA...it's a joke.Hockey is the most intense and nerve-wracking. Games can shift in under a few seconds on a regular basis. I'm going with that.
American football is alright. Each game really counts in the short season.Â
Soccer is slow and usually pretty unexciting from a casual perspective.
Baseball is boring all around. Completely uneventful.
Basketball is fun to play, but professional basketball is a split for me. The games are alright (if the refs aren't blatantly giving games to particular sides like they tend to do in the NBA), but the superstar mentality is lame and half of the sport is talking about stars' daily lives. Nobody gives a damn about what player X had for breakfast or what shoes he's wearing off the court. Plus the bending of rules for the professional league makes it kind of cheesy but that's just me.Saturos3091
If you think soccer then the best sport is hockey. It is like soccer only better in every way. LOXO7This. I played both sports for 10 years. Hockey is by far. By FAR, the more fun sport.
Football is the only sport worth watching. And one of the few worth playing. themajormayor
The No Fun League has ruined football beyond repair.

I can't enjoy pro basketball knowing that there is a predetermined outcome.

Excluding commercials? doesn't it make it very misrepresentative then?[QUOTE="comp_atkins"]most sports short of an 80's era mike tyson fight have more gameplay time than football.[QUOTE="cysf661"]

Excluding commercials? doesn't it make it very misrepresentative then? i think the article mentions somewhere that commercials account for about 60% of the total broadcast time. the pic is just what fills the other ~40%...Please Log In to post.
