Best tv pilots

Which shows do you think had the best pilots? Since often networks will put pretty big budgets behind some pilots, there's some pretty good ones out there. First one that comes to mind for me is Lost's pilot. That whole first segment of the survivors trying to get ashore was shot incredibly.

That 70's show's pilot was pretty funny back in the day. As was Lost, Prison Break etc. Basically all the good shows had a strong pilot.

Arrested Development had a great pilot.

Any pilot with a nuclear detonation in the first episode is awesome in my book. Do you know if they are still going ahead with the movie to take place after Season 2. A new American Civil War would be a great concept for a movie.

Lost was the first show to come to mind. JML897

I was impressed with Battlestar Galactica and Breaking Bad.

Lost and Battlestar Galactica are the two best tv pilots in my opinion

the pilot for the live action tick tv show was amazing, but the rest of the show sucked.

I think Lost had the best Pilot in TV history. And its not even close. The budget for the Lost pilot could rival that of Hollywood movies. And really, I don't think I've seen a better Pilot episode.
