I just went up to my local Best Buy and there is already people out in line with tents! Must be 10 of them out there! Jk,lol! Does anyone think there will be a line in the morning?
This reeks of some kind of ign user hoax. There are plenty of games on that list that are still flying off of shelves at retail price. While there are three Best Buys in less than twenty minutes travel time from where I live, I won't be visiting a single one.

I would be amazed if this turned out to be true but a small part of me still wants to go to Best Buy to make sure it isn't real. I'll feel like an idiot when there is no sale though.
Guys its all fake, completely made up. I just went to my local Best Buy, a sales rep there told me the whole thing was false and fabricated. Even if it was real only around 3 of the games on the entire list were there. I believe those games were Crimson Skies (they had 2 copies...), Amry Men Sarges War or something (like 1 copy) and another game that looked horrible.
You guys are failing to realize something. That isn't a sale. Yes, those prices happen and it's for clearanced items. 95% of those games will not be on the shelves because they went clearance long ago and those prices are in effect for the few stores that have any left. The price changes happen only on Mondays and happen anywhere from 6 to 8 times in a year. They do happen though as I have seen very many. Â
i was already planning on going to best buy after work today, so even though most of those games probably wont even be there to begin with, ill definatly have to check and see.. i looked around on their website and it says nothing... wonder how they found that out?

Oblivion isn't a clearance item but it was still on the list for $10. Might be clearing it out for a revision such as platinum hits, Oblivion+expansion edition, etc. Believe me, I've seen this time and again.

It's not fake, but the chances of you actually finding one of the games is very slim. First hand experience. I used to do those price changes on early Monday mornings. It's not just games, software and DVDs and CDs get the same treatment.
San Andreas for 2 bucks. I find that extremely hard to believe because all GTA games (from what I know) wouldn't be sold for that little. BestBuy wouldn't dare to make it 2 bucks. Yeah I agree with the other posts its going to be hard to find does games as my BestBuy has around 10% of those games.
nope, they had sonic heroes for 1.99 but it was sold out - they had another I had no interest in - also they had x-men legends for 4.99 - those were the only ones that were reduced - a waste of time
I practically live next door to a generally well stocked store and I got there right as they were opening (along with a handful of peeps in the know) and they pretty much had nothing on the discount list. We wandered down to another store down the street just to see if they had anything and it was the same story. Both stores looked liked they had been cleaned out everything hours ago even though they just opened.
Normally I would state that it was a complete waste of time but I needed some supplies anyways and it got me out early on one of my days off which is something of a miracle in my view.
Wow, my wallet is already calling to get eaten...but unfortunately there's no Best Buy near where I live and the closest one to me is around 30 minutes away so I don't know if I'll be there for the sale. :(
