Ok so I always hear stupid sh*t like "can God make a stone so heave he cannot lift it?" and stupid sh*t like that. And "why is there evil"? Who the fvck gives a sh*t?

The really BIG paradox is

If God is eternal, infite, unlimited and sh*t like that, how can something limited and finite, i.e. the universe, even exist?

Is there anyone who believes in God with any thought on this that could possibly make you more content with this paradox?

I don't know. Unless you are trying to say God is outside of everything, which I guess he is. I was just saying Heaven is where God sort of "lives" so that would constitute an eternal universe.

There is just so much wrong with this. Just because you cannot comprehend it's vastness, does not mean it is infinite. It actually has a very much finite size. But the phrase "absolutely f*cking massive" doesn't even begin to cover it. Think the distance it takes light to travel in a year (10 trillion, or 10,000,000,000,000 kilometers) times about 150 billion (150,000,000,000).

Then what;s the point of your question?

I was not saying only about time. If god is infinite(in time, space and anything you can possible imagine and beyond) how come the universe (which is finite) exist? Then God cannot be completely infinite since his infinity doesn't cover everything.

All I'm understanding from what you're saying is that in order for God to be infinite, he must create/sustain/live in only infinite things. Which I'm sure I must be misinterpreting somehow...?

Let's imagine God as a sphere. An infinitely large sphere. Infinite in all directions. If we put a finite sphere inside the infinite sphere, sure the infinite sphere still extends outwards infinitely. But it does have a limit to the finite sphere where it doesn't extend. Making it limited.

Why does the fact that something isn't infinite mean that something else isn't infinite?

If God is infinite in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE then there shouldn't be anything finite. Then the God would have a limit where his infinity doesn't stretch.

You have just explained a scenario in which there in an infinite god but not an infinite universe. That doesn't really help your argument/

Infinite but there is a limit inwards.

Nothing proven. What seems likeliest is that there are several universes within a multiverse. But what lies beyond it is another question...

If God is eternal then that means he has existed "forever" aka had no beginning nor will have an end. We can't understand this concept with our minds because they are physical entities as are our thoughts. To us, eternal is nothing...or everything.

I think what we are supposed to conceive is that if God is eternal as almost all theists maintain, and God created and finite universe, where exactly are we in relation to God? Where is hte universe in existence? I can't claim to know the answer but what I can say is that it doesn't seem logically absurd, only inexplicable.

Electrons aren't really orbiting. And I don't think we can call them or other particles spheres. This is just how we represent them graphically. Ever heard of the sting theory?
