Sorry Prydes. But Bill Clinton is the US Champion.

Fist pimp of The White House. He's sleeping with all your women.

Clinton started a trend of reducing the deficit and projected it to be paid off in 12 years if nothing was changed.

Bush tripled it.

Bush may be a brother but eh, he was a terrible president, I would argue that he (or his administrations policies) are the reason for the recession that hit (well him along with Greenspan idea of having variable mortage rates). Thanks to Bush the US has a huge deficit (in no small part due to the useless war in Iraq), he took the surplus that Clinton managed to achieve and turned that into a deficit. His policies on deregulation and taxation of corporations was also flawed (imo). On another note, he attacked a sovereign country (Iraq) and essentially destroyed it. Numerous innocent civilians and soldiers died and the country is in a much worse shape than it was before the war.

Let's not forget the fact that Bush caused the US to lose ALL credibility and respect in the world, allowed the economy to tank rather then stop people from getting rich on a sham housing market, allowed an inreversable, culture changing influx of illegal immigrants into the country, and invaded a country for what turned out to be no reason. To name a few.

Bush started the country on a downward spiral that we may never recover from.

Although I am a person who leans slightly right, I have to say that Clinton was a better president then Bush Jr. And I agree with Wasdie, There is no such thing as a conservative college. Seriously When I went to college all of my English classes the kids there are like, Oh we need free health care, We need the government to help us out more and we need easy high paying jobs. Almost got kicked out of class a couple of times during a (Feminist based) sociology class, for arguing that people should work for what they have and not depend on the government for free hand outs. Now the Women in the Sociology class, I cant even start to begin to explain how horrible that class was. All the women in that class wanted "Equal rights" And yet they still expected chivalry and argued against Paternal Leaves...

This shouldn't even be a question. Clinton was a great president probably one of the greatest in our time and he sexed up some women too. He was the JFK of our time.

Weighing the pros and cons of the state the government was in when they left office I'd have to go with Clinton. Admittedly Bush had bigger problems on his plate during his time in office, but he made the mistake of going into Iraq when he should have kept focus in Afghanistan, and his tax cuts have made lasting consequences long after he left office.

Clinton shouldn't have had an affair. It definitely disgraced the office to a degree. Objectively though it didn't affect the job he did in any noticeable fashion, and he left the country in prosperity.

I don't want to sound like a flaming liberal (lets face it I already do), but Clinton handled the job, especially the finances, far better than his successor.

I honestly thought this topic was a joke or a trick question.

G.W. Bush was one of the worst president's in the country's history.

In fact, Cheney made more important decisions than Bush did.

Clinton also rode the .com boom. Totally different economic situation. That all crashed early Bush era. Not from Bush's policies, just natrual flooding of the market caused it to crash.

Bush Jr. was probably one of the poorer presidents for a number of reasons.. Clinton didn't have to deal with the kind of climate Bush had to but I honestly thought what did was some of the worse decisions out there.. But I would hardly call one or the other one of the best or worse presidents in history.. My favorite president would have to be Theodore Roosevelt, worse president would have to be some one like Andrew Jackson.

George W Bush will go down as one of the worst presidents in U.S. history. He recklessly misled the country into multiple wars and ruined our economy to become the recession that it is. Bill Clinton was a great president despite his infidelities, he left our country with not debt but a surplus. Your mom couldn't tell you why he is the best because there is nothing to back up that claim.

I think that both were fine presidents. The problem with the presidential office is that it's power is largely exaggerated and overrated.
