Black Taco?

Anyone here tried one yet? I was thinking of picking up a couple this weekend to see what their like. Although I can't say I've been impressed with Taco Bell's previous specialty taco attempts.(Volcano taco, I'm looking at you!)

It was alright, nothing too special really. I just wish they would have the Geesy Gordita crunch deal going again... forever.

For 89 cents it was pretty good. Like three little pieces of cheese on it but what do you want for that price?

Just because they don't adverdise it doesn't mean that they don't have it. I get Cheesy Gordita crunchs all of the time.

As for the black taco, it is just a regular taco with baja sause and foodcoloring.

I normally don't get the tacos. Crunchwrap Supreme is the one for me.

Aww that sucks. Both the taco bells where I live make it. I would be sad if I could no longer order my Cheesy Gordita cruch.

I think the politically correct term is African-American Taco.

I just saw it the other day when I was in a Taco Bell. I had no idea what a "Black Taco" was at first. Then I saw a picture. And then I ordered a chalupa and a burrito. It didn't look all that impressive. The volcano taco was extremely disappointing, but I didn't try the volcano burrito.

It was nothing special really besides being cheap lol. The only differences I could find between the black jack taco and a regular taco were the black shell obviously and an additional sauce that they used.

I think we need more congesspeople to ban the segregation going on at dinner time.

This needs to be stopped.

i tried this taco before it even came out, im glad my mom works at taco bell

I don't know, the lava sauce just didnt do it for me. It's like they we're trying to go for sweet and tangy as well as sour, but it just made all the flavors cancel out. Thus, having no flavor at all, and inevitably being kinda meh.

The guy with the taco reminds me of Edward Norton for some reason, making it even funnier.

Eh... Nothing to different, the black shell added nothing. Like others said, it was all about the peperjack sauce mostly, because without it, it just would have been any other Taco.

I think it's pretty good. It's not outstanding, nor is it something I'd order on a regular basis, but it is pretty tasty. It gets my recommendation anyway.
