On topic, it doesn't surprise me that it's a branch of BLM that did this. Their arguments are just as nonsensical and shortsighted as the US version of them.

The urban areas around airports, power plants, and "the busiest roads in the west" (which I will address as "place of interest" or "poi" from now on) are built after them, because these places of interest provide huge possibilities for local businesses in the surrounding areas to grow, as they provide a mean to do a high volume of commerce, similar to how rivers and ports were before the industrial revolutions.
Notice how it's "urban areas around places of interest" - even the wording itself implies the order in which things happened. They didn't flatten a district in a poor area to make a poi - the urban area was built after the poi.

These people whining about air pollution are just plain embarassing. If the pois weren't built, these poor urban areas wouldn't exist in the first place. And if the pois were shut down, the interest in the area from businesses would die down and they'd have to leave their homes because there would be half as many jobs available in their local area.
I'll go ahead and assume not one of the people who contributed to making this video, or commissioning it, have a college education in a subject that isn't worthless.
