Has anyone ever gotten a hamburger or sandwich that already had a bite taken out of it by the employee from a fast food chain or restaurant? I went to jack in the box to get a spicy chicken sandwich today, i got home and opened it and its all mangled and has a bite taken out of it. Im gong to go down there and get a new one and hopefully some free meal discount or something.Montayabring an interpreter

[QUOTE="sAndroid17"]What:o no thats never happened to me, and what are you trying to say at the end there?ParandrusIt appears to be "like a fist full of..." lol, i "hope" that what is says :P
If i'm eating out, I rarely go somewhere where I can't see the food being prepared in front of me. I always go to places like cafes, Subway or Greggs. I've never had that done to me, and hopefully never will, but I doubt you'll get anywhere going back. Once you've left the place they'll just claim you did it. If they're disgusting enough to eat half your food they're mean enough to keep your money as well.AirGuitarist87Local takeaway shop (corner shop, hamburger "milk bar" sort of place)>any fast food.
Better yet, I don't know who you would contact abou this, but file a complaint about the resturaunt.

On thaty note, Checkers is about the WORST. I HATE going to Checkers, largely because they are SLOW AS HELL. For the first time in over 2 years, I just visited a Checkers today. I pull up to the drive through to order and I hear "hold please". I'm then waiting for TEN ****ING MINUTES just for them to take my order! And it's not like they were even busy or anything. The place was drive through ONLY, and there wasn't ANYONE ELSE at the window. And it's not like I got there when they first opened either. I was there at freaking 2:30 in the afternoon. So I don't know what the HELL was keeping them so busy that they had to wait ten damn minutes to take my order, but at least they got my burger to me quickly once I ordered it.
So I then roll up to the window, and this chick with prison tattoos all over her and a full mouth full of gold teeth says to me "holy ****, [insert racial epithet], you got some hair on you! Ya'll oughta let my sister braid yo hair!"
And I'm thinking, "okay...NOW I remember why I don't go to Checkers."
Checkers, man. ****ing CHECKERS.:x

I've left and gone back and gotten food replaced.
At several major fast food chains ranging from Wendy's to Taco Bell, I've occasionally gotten home and found out that they ****ed up my order. And I've then gone back with a reciept to show that I bought it, and said stuff like, "im sorry, but you guys shorted me an entire burrito. May I have that burrito, please?"
And I've honestly never had a problem. I mean really, unless that restaurant is right in the middle of the poorest ghetto, WHO is gonna go home, then come back, and lie just to get a free burrito? They're better off eating they're losses, giving me another $2 burrito even if they DO think I'm lying, just to avoid bad word of mouth.
It also helps to not act like a total ass when you confront them about it. You start ranting and raving and saying "give me my hamburger, *****", people are gonna think you're irrational and out-of-his-mind, and the kind of person who's actually messed-up and irrational enough to try to go out of his way just to cheat them out of a freaking two dollar hamburger. But if you remain calm and polite, and don't act like an ass, they're more likely to say, "this guy isn't a crazy nut, and he doesn't act like the broke-ass ghetto scum who usually try to cheat us. So even though I hear these sorts of complaints often and think those people are lying, THIS guy doesn't fit the profile of the people who are trying to cheat us." And then they'll be more likely to BELIEVE YOU when you say that they screwed you over.
LOL  I really don't understand some people. When a place does something really disgusting to your food, why on earth would you go back there to demand more? Free or not, you really think it's a risk worth taking that they won't see you as a sucker and try something even more F***ed up next time. :?bulbus69
If somebody at the restaurant took a bite out of his food, he HAS THAT PERSON'S DNA. Anyone puts bodily fluids in your food, you have their goddamn DNA. Furthermore, anyone who's bold enough to take bites out of people's food is gonna be doing that to OTHER people too. You provide the receipt, it'll have the time and date of WHEN you bought that food. That identifies WHO was on duty when that food got sold to you, which identifies WHO took a bite out of your hamburger. Or at the very least, who wrapped a hamburger and gave it to you after someone else took a bite out of it.
So yeah...you can throw the new hamburger right in the garbage. But ABSOLUTELY go back and file a complaint. Because complaints are what get these kind of people fired.
Really, you need to complain about this. Because if someone did that to YOU, they're gonna do it to someone else. So even if you don't want to eat a damn thing from that restaurant ever again, you ought to file a complaint just to keep other people from getting ****ed over too. Have any problems with the replacement food? Have the managers causing you a problem when you go back to get your food fixed? Complain to the damn corporate office and provide a photocopy of the receipt showing exactly when you bought it. Do you inspect your new hamburger and find out that it has semen in it? Then sue their asses and go right to the media. You've also got the offender's DNA, so save that burger and save the damn receipt.

I've worked in a restaurant and people try the weirdest of things to get free stuff. I remember one girl who told me we've given her the wrong meal...after she'd eaten it. She wanted the meal she ordered but wouldn't accept that she had to pay for it. A lot of it is to do with how nice the staff are, though. I've met some real asshats who would try ANYTHING to get one over on you, no matter how trivial. But I agree that the nicer you are the better results you get.bring an interpreter[QUOTE="Buddha_basic"][QUOTE="Montaya"]Has anyone ever gotten a hamburger or sandwich that already had a bite taken out of it by the employee from a fast food chain or restaurant?
