Boys hitting on girls, but... BACKWARDS???

In every place in the world, this happens: Boys look up for girls they like. And it is ok. Boy looks girl, boy talks to girl, boy dates girl and finally boy pops the question. This is the basic procedure for starting a relationship.

In my country, at least, it is extremely RARE (in time not in method) that a girl pops the question or that a girl takes initiative. They (girls) say that men should do the thing if they are interested, that women should not make the first move, because they could get sentimentally hurt, but, it happens to us, and it is not fair to shield on that argument. It happens, that sometimes a boy and a girl like each other, but just because the boy didn't have the nerve to pop the question, or something like that, she is unable.

Maybe in your countries happen a similar thing. That men have an implicit obligation to take initiative and pop the question. I'd like that it could happen backwards. Girls taking initiative and asking boys for dates. What is your take on it?

It is happening. When people coin up terms like 'She's all over me!'.

Trust me, it has happen to me and ugh! If she's hot and nice I wouldn't mind, but gah! Well now there is one, she's nice and everything, but I don't she's my type.

It just depends on the people. It generally is the guy asking the girl out and whatnot, but as of late it seems more and more woman are actually asking guys out instead.

We never now, it may happen. But movie culture often stereotypes the thinking. We often think base on what we watched.

Its human nature really. men are supposed to be the hunters while women are supposed to be the nurturers. I mean look at the toys boys and girls play with.

Men are raised with this idea that women are some prize 18 point trophy that they're supposed to hunt.

Personally, I don't want, nor need anyone. I'm fine being alone and so should more people. You learn a lot about yourself when you do some personal reflection.
