i know rite? I mean McMahon, Fawcett, Jackson, and Mays. 3 out of 4 died relatively young. Anyway sad to here about Billy Mays and hope that his family get's through this. Looking at the sitution i'm not sure nor am I an expert. But going to guess that he took to many painkillers for his head pain****, that is the 4th one JUST this week.

I think Mays shouted too much though...it was unnecessary.[QUOTE="Link256"]

AH man WHAT"S going ON! David Carradine, Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson. Now it's Billy Mays. :cry:He madeTV infomercials so much fun! The Dualsaw will always be the best one!
Wow, so ironic, because I swear I thought not too long ago "when is he going to die." Now I sort of feel responsible, and then right when I started to get into Michael Jacksons music, he dies.... I just realised that most songs I have listened to, the people are still alive, but listening to music from a dead person is so strange.
I always used to say his commericals outloud to annoy people.... but now its going to make me burst into tears.
Horrible day
I think the only time I was ever "shocked" by a celeb death was when Dale Earnheardt Sr died in the 2001 Daytona 500. I saw the end of the race, saw the crash, thought "well nothing to bad there at all" Had to go to work thenI hear a few hours later that he was killed. I was shocked just due to the fact that the accident was NOthing. But thats how it goes.
Billy should have gotten checked out, but its still possible it had nothing to do with the hard landing. But I have my doubts. I have a hunch either the hard landing caused a blood clot from his legs to go to his heart (the thing that almost killed Phil Harris on "The Deadliest Catch", and something people who fly a lot or sit a lot have and dont even know it) and it was lights out, or the hit caused a blood clot in or on the brain and caused the pressure to go up.. Once it gets to high its done.
WHAT NOOO!!!!!! Why couldn't they take Vince with his crappy Shamwow
Lief_Ericson
Vince killed our Billy Mays! NOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll slapchop him!

So did anyone get to the bottom of that youtube video that foretold his death?GAMESHARQDidn't know of that one. Is it still up?
CNN is now reporting that the cornoer has cited heart disease as the primary cause. But I think they will be checking into it further. Seems clear to me that if your hit hard in the head by something, a few hours later you dont feel well and are complaining of being "groggy" and a few hours after that your dead, these things seem to be connected. Could be that the hit to the hit knocked something loose like a blood clot, it then went to the heart (he was overweight, so heart issues is not out of the question) and caused a blockage.
The very same thing almost happened to Phil Harris (captain of F/V Cornelia Marie). The ship took a very hard rouge wave one night, he was thrown very hard up against the wall. This knocked a blood clot from his leg loose, then it went up into his heart, got passed that and ended up in his lungs. Had it stopped in this heart it would have been lights out. People who sit a lot need to watch out for PAD (Peripheral vascular disease). People who sit a lot and people who fly a lot (flying is especially bad, the lower air pressure and the hours of sitting can cause the clots to form)
ANd it looks like the airline that Billy was on that night is just BEGGING to get its ass sued. They claimed he did not have his seat belt on, then they retracted that claim. Since they could not prove he did not have his belt on or not.
