Breaking up? I thought they broke up years ago. I had one album of theres but cant remember what it was. I had it back in my teenage gangsta rebellion days. Something chambers, maybe? I think it was a number, like 1000 chambers.

People don't read into things well. No where does it say they are broken up, if so you know mtv.com as annoying as they are would be all over this...then again i could be wrong, most kids today rather listen to 50 cent and Emo then Wu Tang or Suicidal Tendencies or Alice in Chains....anyways Wu Tang are not breaking up nor does this link prove it, it clearly states that Raekwon is unhappy with the direction and i prob would be to if i was looking foward to Enter the 36 Chambers sound.

He states they need to work out differences, this was also posted on Billboard.com today and Ghost Face apparently expressed similar output a month ago. If anyone really knew much of Wu Tang (I'm from Staten Island) you would know those two are always very vocal and upfront more then anyone with being angry about stuff.

On another note i heard a rumor about Minor Threat doing some shows with Gorilla Biscuits, is that true?

Its not just Raekwon and Ghost, the whole crew is upset with RZA. Wu-Tang without Rza aint Wu-tang period. Even if its Rza's fault for all this BS. So if things dont work out between Rza and the rest of the crew then they are breaking up;)

I didn't understand what his problem with the music was, it wasn't a coherent statement. First he said classical and piano, then he said guitar out of nowhere. I'm sorry but Raekwon is one to criticize with his recent lackluster albums. Only GZA and Ghost are doing anything correctly as of late, if they were speaking on the subject then I might consider it, which Ghost did voice his opinion. Rae needs to understand that he is not a music maker, hes just a rapper. Leave the music to a professional like RZA.

oh noes!!!!

so who are they? a band I presume?

RamboSymbiot

Their considered to be the best group ever in Hip-Hop history

In my opinion, the Beastie Boys take that award, just because they showed that rap doesn't always have to be black guys rapping about how they wanna kill each other:)

Let me guess you are one of those people who bash rap and hip-hop but have no common knowledge on the style of music. You just bash it to get some kicks but often times have no clue what you are talking about

Wow, just because I have different tastes than you. C'mon, I don't like them and I don't care, if you're going to hold that against me then that's your problem.

What I'm wondering is why you commented in this thread in the first place. I understand you have a right to express your opinion just as much as any oneelse but seeing how you knew who the wu-tang clan was and you obviously do not like to listen to them then why comment at all? You clearly came in here to be a smart ass and piss off some people only to get attention.

My bad I shouldn't have jumped on him like that I'm sorry

So basically, Raekwon doesn't like the "Heavy Guitar" tracks lined up in the new album? (I guess it's too "White" & too "ROCK" for the group)

Accusing Rza (the only one with Brains in the group) of being a "Hip-Hop Hippie"?

No wonder rap sucks.

It's no wonder Alternative Hip-Hoppers (with some artists who can play an instrument) & Underground Hip-Hop is shunned off into the abyssal underground, while dim-witted dumber than dog poo "artists" like Soulja Boy, Gay-Unit are topping the charts

M8ingSeezun

Stop being ignorant. There are creative differences within the group and some think that the guitar riffs sound like ****. Wu Tang wouldn't refrain from using guitar riffs just because it's too "white" or "rock", because they've used guitars in the past. You don't know what your talking about do you?

you do know beastie boys were around before gangsta rap hit the market, don't you. so your statement makes no sense at all.

Wu Tang Clan, Naughty By Nature, AZ (Not Jay Z for you MTV fans) Nas (Old School), Lost Boyz, Mobb Deep, Helter Skelter, Back in the early 90's East Coast was beyond sick. They let it slip away and of course got replaced with Rap today.

Hip Hop use to speak of poetry and inner problems and just silly stuff. Rap is all bout bling, shoot em ups and of course since 2pac died it has become marketed towards white rich suburban kids. That is a fact.

Just like once the late 80's early 90's Rock and Metal scenes died so have the good guitar music...Popular wise.

Just use your heads and searche for good stuff, lay off itunes and silly radio. Well Heroin also has a big part in why all lead singers are gone to. I miss Layne Staley

This ani't the first time the group had beef with Rza. Its more like 5th time we all remember what happen with ODB contact thanks to the Rza for being such a sell out and Dame Dash for punking Rza. It is like Reakwon said its like the Rza is trying to pimp them and use them.

Blah...they break up every time they start work on a new album...or finish an album...or spend more than 15min together...or see a picture of each other in magazines.

It means NOTHING.

In the end they'll all chill...be cool again...and make more music. It's what they do.

Kinda sad...Wu-Tang was a very influential hip hop group...Rza always has been the genious of the group. And he is far more talented than just staying in the Hip Hop vein. I have actually heard CDs of him doing arrangements of Charlie Parker tunes to hip hop...Rza knows good music period. And if he goes solo I have no doubt his artistic talent will carry him far when Wu-Tang fizzles out...He is the Justin Timberlake of the Backstreet Boys..Rekewon better get his head out of his butt and realize that. Aint no one hirin him to do movie soundtracks or scores...When that happens then he can get in the RZAs face about what sounds good....Eff Rekewon and eff his mother :)

Im glad someone here knows what their talking about. NWA and Public Enemyare by far the most influential rap groups in Hip Hop history.

"A Tribe called Quest" Disagrees with you. :P

As for the article, I can see something like this happening. There are like 9 of them in the group so tension had to exist. If they dont' put out another album it wont bother me since I still have all those classics to play. Ghost face needs to put out another album anyway.

I have always liked Bone Thugs more, but Wu was still great why RZA.
