I love Family Guy, and Brian is one of the reasons I love it. I want to stand on top of a mountain, and declare my love. Because I dont care! I dont care what other people think! And we will form a family band and travel the country, and sing songs

I haven't been watching the new episodes, but thought Brian was ok in the beginning. I noticed as the seasons progressed he got a bit harder to deal with though.
IMO the episodes that center around Brian and Stewie are the best ones. I can't stand Peter, he is so dumb it's just annoying. Lois, Chris, and Meg are just kind of 'meh'.
The biggest problem I have with Brian is that who wasn't always SOO bad, I don't even understand what his humour is suppose to be any more, at first I thought he was a parody of democrats but as it went on I started to think is this even a joke any more or just them hosting some guys ideas? With that said I still do love the Stewie and Brian episodes, also what is with Quagmire hating him?
ok, the laughs from Brian aren't supposed to come from his funny face or his alcoholism. It's supposed to come from something else that I can't put my finger on...
I think the real reason Family Guy has been going downhill is because Seth Macfarlane has 3 shows he's doing: American Dad, Cleveland, and Family Guy. When you have to split jokes for 3 shows, they're probably going to suffer.
Family Guy is something i have on while studying or doing other stuff, i honestly don't pay close attention or give it much thought. I find it overall quite entertaining. It's a cartoon, If you don't like the show then don't watch it. It was never intended to be intelligent or thought provoking, Stop reading so much into things.
I really like Brian, he has character. What sucks about family are scenes that go on forever for no reason. The best example of this is one time when Peter fell over, and it was just him clutching his knee and going "Tsssssss, aaaaaaaaaaaaah!" for about a minute
