[QUOTE="ineedanap"]

One word: Oasis.

That is all.

maccer101

yeah, i agree (and just for the record, to my fellow brits, the kaiser chiefs suck, stop comparing them to oasis!)

QFT, Kaiser Chiefs suck. Can't believe they made it into Guitar Hero 3.

Oh and British is best. The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath and lately Muse.

British rock includes Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. (metal is a subgenre of rock, remember?) American rock includes Motley Crue and bands like Dokken. This isn't even a contest.

American rock has some good bands (Flyleaf, Papa Roach, Staind, etc), but most American rock bands get very boring to listen to. British rock has some interesting bands that aren't afraid to think out of the box(Radiohead)

Even though my favorite band is American (R.E.M.) my other nine favorite bands are all British so it is not hard for me to choose.

American. That seems to be where the majority of my favourites are from.

My favourite band is British, but I can only think of 4 or 5 UK bands I really like.
