Broken controller

I have a dual anolog controller with the "Turbo" and "Slow" buttons and when I put it in, it says that it isn't in but the light is red.

Anybody expirenced this before and if yes and you got it to work, could you PLEASE TELL ME.

Set it out in the sun today at 90 degrees F, and watch it melt. Now afterwards, handle it carefully and put it in your freezer overnight. Come the next morning, take it out and wait for it to thaw.Legendaryscmt
