I prefer BK because they have tastier fries and burgers, as well as onion rings (which McDonalds doesn't have), though I like the chicken and prices of McDonald's better.
BK recently slipped to the #3 spot in sales, Wendy's sold enough to move up to #2.
So BK is going to have to reinvent itself.

Their biggest problem is price and (in the UK at least) locations. The meals are a good deal more expensive than McDonalds, and here the nearest Burger King is about 7 or 8 miles away, there's probably like 6 McDonalds within that distance. Most of the other ones I know about are at train or service stations.
The Burger King here was always terrible and went out of business years ago. McDonald's is pretty much inedible these days, if they're not dumping a whole onion on every burger they're screwing it up some other way. Warming up an English Muffin is like rocket science to them.

Definitely Burger King. The fries are crispier and have a better flavor, as opposed to the flimsy and over-salted fries of McDonalds. Furthermore, the fact that Burger King flame broils its burgers instead of frying them, like McDonald's does, is a plus because there's no grease. Burger King FTW. With that said, KFC is the best fast food joint.
Chick fil A is the biggest fvcking ripoff. I went to the new one by me a while back and a basic sandwich combo was $8 and it wasn't any better than a $1 chicken sandwichn at McDonalds.
