I'm gonna see it tomorrow, I know it's gonna kickass.Proobie44You are definitly going to be most satisfied with it:D
I am looking forward to it:D I wonder if I could see it this weekend, might be a packed theater. Film-GuyWhen I went, it was the early evening, and it was barely any people at the theatre. This is one of those films that might not appeal to all.
I found it surprising that after No Country For Old Men, they made this, a drama to comedy.I'm going to see it this weekend. A-list cast and the Coen brothers. You can't go wrong.

It's the Coen brothers, it's not very surprising.

That is true:PI doubt this will make much in the box office, I don't think it appeals to a wide audience. I can't wait to see it though:D-Sniper99-
It will probably make a good amount because of the cast and the directors.
Saw it today. It was funny, but I sort of think it's one of their weaker comedies. Better than Intolerable Cruelty and The Ladykillers, but not their best.
In some ways it's a lot like Big Lebowski. Except that where The Big Lebowski sort of made fun of the detective genre, Burn After Reading is sort of making fun of the modern political thriller. It really is funny, but I doubt it's gonna become a classic.
Just saw it tonight and loved it. It was hilarious! Brad Pitt should do more comedy because he was excellent.
The theater went nuts when you find out just what exactly the "device" is. Hysterical stuff.
Be prepared though, there are some extemely shocking scenes of violence. There were about just as many gasps as there were laughs in the theater.

Ha, I thought that was funny too. How like half the audience was like, "OH MY GOD!", and the other half was just laughing their asses off.
I think some people just saw George Clooney and Brad Pitt in the trailer, and assumed it was gonna be like Ocean's 11 or something.

I laughed during that scene, it was pretty funny.I thought it was really good. Not the Coens best film but still really good. The movie was very funny, my theater was pretty full and almost everyone laughed out loud at least more than 3 times and I mean everyone. My only complaint is that it was too short.
There were some shocking moments and suspenseful moments, and some brutal violence but it is a Coen brothers film so what do you expect.
