bus driver vs. taxi driver

Which do you hate the most and why? Also if you have any good stories share them :D

In my case it's taxi drivers without a doubt. I find that they will cheat you out of as much money as possible and i find that loathsome.

For instance After a night of drinking me and a couple of friends were taking the cab back to someones place for more drinks. We had to get 2 cabs. I was in the second cab with a friend of mine who by that time was very drunk. He decides to admit that we were just visiting the city and we wanted to go to the place as soon as possible and stop when we had reached 20 dollars (it's all we had). Result? We didn't arrive 10 minutes walk from our destination having spent the 20 dollars whereas the other group (with the person from montreal) got home and it cost them 12 dollars.

EDIT: after reading back my second line, i realised i was being rather biased in my opinion... so i want to clarify that in a good amount of cases i found them to be this way.

I prefer Bus drivers, don't have to pay them as much.

I dislike taxi drivers more. There's always an awkward silence during the whole ride. The only downside of riding the bus are the stinky hobos.BDM666

it may not be intentional, but most bus drivers are evil, they can't wait just 5 secs at times for 1 person to get on

I hate the taxi driver. The bus driver just gets paid to drive a bus around and collect standard fares. The taxi driver is prone to dictating and manipulating fares like some wannabe Republican capitalist turd.

I dislike bus drivers more than taxi drivers as bus drivers are funded through stolen money. But, I don't tend to collectivize people based on any number of factors. It's up to each individual person, and how their attitudes relate to mine. I much prefer taxi drivers and bus drivers that are silent as opposed to gregarious ones, for example.gnom1k

Also forgot how painfully awful the bus drivers are in some places... where i live, if you arrive just a second or two after the door of the bus closes and is about to leave, 80% of the time he will just ignore you, even if you're waving and knocking at the door for a good 5 seconds...

On Brazil taxi drivers are nicer than bus drivers...rmfd341
