Or weapons of mass destruction.
And the weird thing is, I bet no one will belive it despite it being live on TV when I first saw it. I swear America has become a bunch of easily led automatons, I'm getting the hell out of this country.

I've been of legal voting age for one presidential election, and I didn't vote for him. Everyone else, what's your excuse? :Pjodamn
I wasn't of legal voting age either time. So that's my excuse :D
I never believed it did.....and enough with the US bashing.:|LJS9502_basicSeriously. Do we need this crap every other thread on here?
I'm getting the hell out of this country.dj_pulserfanThen leave then. For every person like you that wants to leave, there are a thousand that want to get in.

 It sure seams that way.Bush
"Nobody's ever suggested that the attacks of September the 11th were ordered by Iraq. I have suggested however, that resentment and the lack of hope create the breeding grounds for terrorists who are willing to use suiciders to kill, to achieve an objective."
If that was the situation before the invasion then god knows how much "resentment" and "lack of hope" there is now.

I expect the same thing to happen next year. The Electoral College is a terribly flawed system.
If you think we should do away with the electoral college and go with popular voting instead, check out the "National Popular Vote Interstate Compact" (wiki) I know, it's a mouthful. :D
It's a proposal to change our system to one where the candidate who wins the popular vote always wins the election. Individual states can choose to ratify the agreement, but it doesn't come into effect unless a certain number of total states choose to ratify.
We didn't vote him in. The Electoral College screwed us over.Ranger_x8bI got news for you, he cleaned up in the popular vote also.

Depends on which election. 2000 or 2004?

HAHAHAHHAHA, nice one. Haven't heard that one before. And i like how you exclude yourself from the American public.
We didn't vote him in. The Electoral College screwed us over.Ranger_x8bSeven years ago, i thought i would never say this. But i really wish Al Gore won now  It really makes no sense how a person can win the popular vote, yet not win the vote that counts :S
It's not Iraq or Afganistan you should be worried about, you should worry about the nation in between those two unstable countries...
IRAN, could have been the main target in the beginning. but you never know with such an unstable leader.
Pray that sith lord dick cheney doesnt get his way with bush's judgement.

I expect the same thing to happen next year. The Electoral College is a terribly flawed system.
I'm not sure why it's even necessary. All it's used for is to get the most favorable candidate of high power politicians in the office. It doesn't represent the peoples' opinion the least bit.

You must have failed civics because you would know that you dont particularly vote for presidents. They are only electoral votes for the democratic or republic parties which the higher ups actually get to use your votes for the actual president voting. Lol, please, go back to some other crappy country and leave us all alone we dont want people like you in the US anyways.
He never sold me on the idea. Then again, I read the PNAC letters they wrote to clinton in 98 making their case againts Saddam. What do you know, three years later the guys who wrote those letters are the planners behind the new Iraq war. Goto the project for a new American century and goto the letters section. see the early letters on Iraq, notice who signed them ;)DarthmattProject For A New American Century is a good song :)

Its the name of one of the most right wing private think tanks in America today. Most of the former members from the late 90s just happen to be W's core cabinet members.

Word, the founding fathers never wanted a pure democracy.. They saw it as a mobocracy where popular ideas did not mean the best.. No one wants to pay taxs, but lets be honest this in the end would hurt us a hell of alot more sense it would cripple United States government spending.
