Macs are like handicapped PCs I wouldn't go that far, that title belongs to E-machine. You can do the same things on an e-machine as a mac, and many, many more.
The only real reason anyone would need a mac is if it's for work. Simply because of the file formats and a few specific programs.
Otherwise PC's do far more, and are usually less than half the price.
I'm buying an iMac. My wife gets a teacher discount at the Apple store, plus a free wireless printer if bought through Apple. Can anyone direct me toward any better deals?
