Nah... It's like watching Dumb and Dumber. When one state does something stupid, you just know the other one will follow up with something worse...California is **** bonkers. I wonder if New York is gonna sit there and allow Cali to upstage them?

Most places want a birth certificate or other documents showing citizenship such as a passport (needs a birth certificate too) to prove who you are when getting a license the first time. Â

When I got mine I had to show my birth certificate and another form of ID. When my wife got hers she also had to show her immigration paperwork showing she was in the country legally and her license automatically expired on the last day of her immigration document.
