Calling this girl for the first time...

There's a girl in my class(es) and since the beginning of the year, I'm fairly certain she had a crush on me, and I also do to some degree. I could tell by the way she seems to show up where ever I am, or when she goes up to the front to talk to the teacher and then turns back to look at me thinking that I don't notice. So I began to talk to her a few times and then finally decided to ask for her number yesterday.

Now, I'm sort of apathetic towards people, and haven't really gotten any relationships because I never wanted to waste my time. Part of the reason is that the only girls I have ever liked have never, ever liked me, and the rest of them I simply do not care about. But this is the first time in my life that I met someone that may like me just as much as I like her. So I'm thinking I'm not going to mess this up, but I don't know what kinds of things I could say on the phone to keep it from being boring/awkward and generally create a comfortable situation.

Any ideas of what I could say to her, or talk about. I know that school, and life and such are boring to talk about so I want to steer clear of that.

if theres an akward silence, say you have to go spank the monkey, whill make it even more akward. then, go on the internet, and play the sound of a monkey screaming. she'll laugh. or never talk to you again. if she ignores you for something like that, well, she wasnt a friend to begin with.

that's good advice, even though it's somewhat negative. I'm good at talking to girls when I don't like them, so should I jack around before I call so I'm all calm and stuff?

Ask her simple things like her favorite (movie, music artist, sport) and just try to continue the conversation. Try to lead one topic into another topic without awkward pauses and "ums".staindcoldlp

Should I tell her about how I set off 5 dry ice bombs in a bayou behind this neighborhood in rapid succession? 5 minutes later I was hearing sirens in the neighborhood and left with my two friends. Or would that be something to tell other guys?Messer_Partei
