Maybe I just misunderstand their message or what they are striving to accomplish. Everytime I see anarchists on tv, they're usually the ones rioting or taking advantage of a protest situation to turn it violent. They tend to burn cars, loot stores, and just create mayhem. Often times their actions take away from the legitimate, organized and peaceful protests of others.

If you are an anarchist, what is your goal? Is it just to create chaos and have the world burn down around you? Because - to me - that's what anarchy is. The absence of law. There is no order and no protection. People can basically just kill whoever gets in their way and take whatever they want. The strong rule and the weak die. Is that what anarchists want?

I've met some people who think anarchy is good and complain about society. But usually they are upset over such monumental issues as not being able to skateboard in a park or something along those lines.

It's one thing to be upset about an unjust law or practice, but to want absolute anarchy? I dont understand that.

People desperately seeking to be a unique little snowflake by forcefully refusing to conform to anything out of fear. They are some of the easiest people to manipulate.

Social anxiety and an unbalanced set of hormones and other chemicals is dangerous force, to say the least. However, I am informed the public conception of the belief of Anarchism is eschewed. Perhaps a fine example of the Anarchist Movement would care to explain?

anarchism describes the political philosophy which considers the state undesirable, unnecessary, and harmful, and instead promotes a stateless society or or it means really limited government these days

Pretty much this.. They are disillusioned with the system they live in it, seeing largely it as largely unjust.

I've always thought that most of them grew up in a protected bubble and have awarped idea of how the world works and what would truly happen without law and order. Those people preaching for the end of goverments and power to the people running around with thier Guy Fawkes masks on would be the same people to start screaming for help when law and order broke down.

I am not a kool aid drinker, I know that goverments are not perfect...far from it. But anyone who thinks we would be better off without them should just go off and live in Somalia for a few years...let them see first hand what true Chaos and Anarchy is
