Can we all agree that South Park is the best sitcom?

I started watching the first four seasons of the series and I can't remember how many times I laugh at each episode. I mean most of the episodes are really good and it involves controversial topics hence why it's humorous. The plot is often unpredictable and the characters are consistent comparable to other shows. Do you agree? What does OT think of South Park?

South Park isn't a sitcom but it is great.

It's pretty awesome but as another user said it hasn't been as good lately but I still enjoy it. I love the Imaginationland episodes

I don't know about it being a sitcom... even if you say it's an "animated sitcom." I do think it's one of my all time favorite shows on television though. It's hard to surpass the humour of South Park.

Another show that started off great, yes i'm looking you fam guy. But just ended slowly getting worse. They have 1 or 2 episodes a year, the rest are meh.

As much as I like south park they need to stop the show now and make another movie

I would trade 10 more seasons of south park for another Team America World Police, which might be one of the smartest, most defiant well made comedies of all time.

for sure. not just because i find it so funny, but because of the statements it makes too.

it used to be really good, but now it's well not really worth watching (and by now i mean the past few seasons). Though, I still standby my top 3 sitcoms:

• Seinfeld
• The Honeymooners
• Coupling

The mere idea of it is laughable.

It's not the best, especially after the last season that aired a few months ago.

I don't like it. It's annoying most of the time, and not funny.

Not at all. I do like the older episodes from back in the 90s, though.

Not even best cartoon, let alone best sitcom.

Not even if it was a sitcom would I consider it the best. That belongs to Everyone loves ray.

South Park is ok though.

First off, South Park is not a sitcom. Second, it's getting worse every season. I've seen entire episodes without laughing once, and that's pretty bad seeing as this is supposed to be comedy. Third, Bottom is the best sitcom ever.

No because it has it's ups and downs(more than it needs) and there are better shows.

yeah, it's better than the majority of stuff on tv nowadays...

I love South Park. A lot of the shows are stupid, but some can be very thought provoking.

The "can we all" part is a bit extreme. Obviously, not everybody is going to agree on a subjective statement like that.

But for me...yes it's my goto show when im bored so i guess yea it's a good sitcom.

I guess if you are 15-25 it might be...I never liked it and think its just horrible. I dont "get" it...I do,however like American Dad,Family Guy,Simpsons,King Of The Hill,and Futurama..but South Park?? eh..

And as for sitcoms I can name a lot that are beter: Seinfeld, I love Lucy, All in the Family, fresh Prince, Fraiser, King of Queens, Everybody loves raymond and I can go on
