I just threw up in my mouth a little.

I remember when I watched Parks and Recreation a couple of weeks ago, there was a middle-aged guy that wanted the Twilight books to be included in the community's time capsule.UT_WrestlerPosting seriously now:
Hey, I think it's quite wise of the guy to ensure that one of mankind's greatest mistakes will always be remembered; for those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. :P
As Bella incredulously picked up her hairbrush, Edward stared blankly at her blank face. He incredulously walked up to her as she incredulously brushed her hair. She was in love.
Hardcore **** right there.
I hope u are trolling, if not you are incredibly stupid when it comes to the horror genre and have the taste of a special edprepubescent girl.

[QUOTE="nervmeister"][QUOTE="l4dak47"] You wanna know what I think. I think you're trolling. In fact, you best be trolling or Ima whoop yo ass. :Pmariomaster16Hey, I'm just saying that Twilight is more refined and interesting, while others like Salem's Lot, Dracula, and Vampire Chronicles are sadly lacking in substance. I gotta be honest, I literally lol'd when I read that. Salem's Lot and Dracula are lacking in substance hahaha. You're hilarious. The majority of Twilight's fanbase is young girls, usually middle school to high school age. Most of these girls wouldn't know good literature if you slapped them with it. Twilight got popular because it played on young, hormonal girl's fantasies. It was by no means well written in terms of literature. Admittedly it was written well enough to fulfill it's goal. That was to monopolize on pre-teen girls. Stephanie Meyer does not deserve to be cast in the ranks of Stoker or Stephen King anymore than Justin Beiber can be compared to Paginnini

"Ok, time to get started on that novel, aparently very easy."
If you want to see a great vampire movie, do yourself a favor and watch "Let The Right One In" and "Interview with a Vampire" Both great vampire movies, and miles ahead of the Twilight films.Digital_DJ_00Sorry. I don't watch that immature stuff. I mean, where's the vision? The Twilight films had that at least despite not following the book 100% to the letter.

Also, no one was particularly handsome or gorgeous in it either.........but that's a smaller complaint.[QUOTE="nervmeister"][QUOTE="Digital_DJ_00"]If you want to see a great vampire movie, do yourself a favor and watch "Let The Right One In" and "Interview with a Vampire" Both great vampire movies, and miles ahead of the Twilight films.jasonharris48

I just started reading the first book and i must say...it really isn't all that.
I've read alot of books and the writing is definitely not top-notch, plus the book is really boring at some points and the lore or whatever isn't as captivating as some other books I've read. It seems like a romance novel without sex and vampires and werewolves thrown in.
Harry Potter was much better.

Since Twilight has actually revived the vampire genre and made it more compelling, complex, and chilling than ever, I think we can all agree that Stephenie Meyer is a genius author who belongs up there with the likes of Bram Stoker, Anne Rice, and Stephen King and probably surpasses all three entirely with her writing that gives amazing yet realistic depth to its characters, both human and supernatural, and creates a mythos to be envied by the rest.
What do you think?
