I dunno about fully toasting it in the microwave. But I tend to freeze my bread esp durring the summer, and when I come to defrost it in the microwave it does come out slightly toasted if I do it for too long, do I guess the theory is there!!

i dont think that you can, but if your oven has a opening in the bottom you can toast bread down there
