[QUOTE="Cube_of_MooN"]I think these threads are starting to become worse than the religious threads. its always some non-American saying "America is teh SUX" or an American saying "America is teh AWESOME." Seriously people, grow up. MissRiotmakerIf only it were that simple. I have nothign against America except for the narrow-minded people who come by here and "make jokes" about Canada. It's not funny and the majority of you people arn't joking. It's sickening and pathetic. But oh noes, when someone does it to you it's a crime, we broke the law. Get over yourselves. I wouldn't argue if you weren't doing the same thing right back, all the fighting is pointless for both sides, presenting a legit argument with good points is fine, but as you say it's gotten out of hand.
Uh good for you? I prefer beautiful scenery to America's Hong-Kong box-styled cities. I prefer being able to breathe fresh air than breathing in polluted air no matter where I go. i have nothing against canada, i just don't like arrogant canadians.
Actually that's not the reason why freedom of flight is restricted in America. Ever since 9/11 airports and security has been kicked up a notch. An African man was killed in an American airport just for not being able to speak or understand English. They thought he was a terrorist. Americans constantly live in fear. See a Hindu or anyone who isn't Caucasian, Indian or Asian and you're instantly a suspect terrorist.[QUOTE="Cube_of_MooN"]I think these threads are starting to become worse than the religious threads. its always some non-American saying "America is teh SUX" or an American saying "America is teh AWESOME." Make jokes about the US that are clever then.. To me it sounds like you have a complex because your insecure about where you live.. Who cares its a first world country that has a great reputation.. It may not be as influential or powerful as the US, but who cares? Look at how much larger the US is, how does this at all demean some one...
Speaking of which I often fear when Canada finally attacks the US and invades across the border with Mounties on horseback hehe... These are jokes who cares about them..

If that's the case we should legalize it here, I'm not a druggie or anything but if it will relax our country a little bit than who am I to judge?

Ouch!
I still don't see how its a good thing to be hated by other countries? but whatever floats your boats... I like not being bombed...
The US was bombed? (planes don't count)Planes do COUNT! But! i never said US got bombed, I said I don't like being bombed, which is true. BUT! we don't need a military because nobody wants to bomb us. This is a good thing. When will americans understand, Countries hating you is a bad thing
They think fear and hate are the same thing. The joke's on them. Nobody fears America anymore.Hahah I really fear your trillion dollar debt! What will you do? hit us with your left over bullet shells? You dont have enough money to fight anymore!
Every country is in debt. The US is in a huge amount of debt, this however doesn't take away from our ability to fight a country like Canada. We could crush your country in a matter of weeks if we had the urge. We're not going to do that though because you're just our cute wittle baby brother! Aww look how cute he is getting all red with anger. Who's a little angry-pants? You are! Yes you are! :lol:Well it wouldn't exactly be a fair fight, what with the US Army being the size of Canada's population :P.

There are people on both sides of this... Did you see that giant "America has no culture" thread that was here earlier? One giant America-flame. Justified or not, it isn't right. Although I will admit some Americans are bad, and I am in no way defending them or ther actions, be careful not to overgeneralize.

How nice, to judge millions of people in the republican party based off one man's actions, George Bush...Remember, half of the country is still republican or leaning right. But thats Washington for you...I live in Oregon, i get flak all the time for being a republican (Atleast in the innercity areas. Many of the small towns to the east and south of oregon are pretty moderate).
