There's nothing out there that I'm realling craving (that's at a reasonable price range).

I'm a college student, i have an ipod, i just bought myself a PSP from Japan, and I have a decent laptop with L4D, WoW, and Starcraft on it. I like getting new clothes but I mean, that's something I'd rather do myself.

Anything reasonable I could ask for? Let's say the limit was $120, what would you recommend? Or what would you ask for?

I'm always really bad at this, because I'm generally a satsified person.

That's what I'd ask for, then put it in my bank account. If you're really against it, then ask for a pair of Bose Headphones, the 130 dollar ones, they are totally awesome.

If not money, is there anything other than electronics, games, etc that you enjoy? Or a place/event you really want to go visit/see?

ask for "nothing, thanks anyways"? if theres nothing material you want, you might as well not make them spend money on you. some people dont even get presents anyways. if they really insist that they get you something, ask for money, or a gift card to a store you like.

Well I feel that picking your present is ruder then just asking for money. So we're even, now go ask for money.

Start by getting a cheap scooter, then eventually upgrade to a motorbike. Once you got a motorbike it will pretty much take over video games.

Since youre satisfied with your current standard of living, why not ask your family to donate a gift to a charitable organization in your name? Seems to be the only reasonable thing to do imho.

The fact that you perceive donations to charities as wasting your money saddens me...

Using "survival of the fittest", which takes direct offset from Charles Darwins "natural selection" as an excuse and/or reason to not donate money to people in 3rd world countries is about the worst excuse ive heard to date.

I'm in the same boat as you. I was thinking new component speakers for my car, along with subs. But doing a good install requires a lot more money put in by me, and if I don't invest enough, it will sound like crap. Was thinking of ski equipment but that'd leave me paying a lot too. (My parents have a $120 limit like yours)

Right, if I had loads of money I would just buy stuff that wouldn't benefit me, so instead I would donate rather than buy things for myself. Right now, I need the money to benefit myself, why should I donate money when it's not my fault. The spare money I would have I would use for my own social and domestic pleasure.
No I don't curse at homeless people, but maybe they should of tried well in their education and try to get a job.

Why?

Y'know how whites back then justified racism? They tried saying crap about how they were "more evolved" or "genetically superior" to black/asian/whatever indigenous people so that they could treat them like ass and not feel guilty about it.

Are you saying that you wanna let people starve because you think you are more "fit" than them?

I don't think that the same saying can be applied to a culture, but rather, to the individual.
