I've seen a lot of absolutely horrid stuff, but speaking about live TV suicides, the video of Budd Dwyer dosing some .357 aspirin gave me a unique type of feeling in my stomach...not even sure of the word.

I watched the Ricardo Cerna suicide video, talk about police incompetence. Don't they search people beforehand? They were lucky he didn't feel like taking down a couple cops with him other than the deputy he shot.

I was talking to my dad about this guy who shot himself yesterday and he told me that he remembers quite clearly in 1987 sitting down after just making a sandwich when he saw Budd Dwyer shoot himself live. lol... We live in PA where his news conference would have aired.
I feel like a terrible human being for laughing at, "gedoff, gedoff, gedoff, gedoff, gedoffit! *pout face,*" but that was pretty funny. The suicide was sad but nothing gruesome.

That right there was pretty light considering some of the other suicides I've seen. Too far away to know exactly what he did til after he started falling over and the news anchor guy confirms it....
Watched it and its pretty damn tame compared to what dark shÃt is out there on the internet. Better him than him running or gunning down some innocent or police officer.
I wonder what was going through his head before the bullet did. Must've not been able to do the time I guess.

Yeah that is fortunate. As sad as it is it'd be much worse if he had decided to take down some civilians or officers before ending himself.
