I know the film was already done with the filming...but yeah I have no idea how it'll change the story.

I remember her hosting the Sci Fi channels Star Wars marathon back in the 90s and talking about how excited she would be if she ever got to do Star Wars again. It finally happens and then this.

very sad to hear about this. as a huge Star Wars fan i used to have a crush on her as a kid after seeing The Empire Strikes Back. she will be truly missed.

It's sad and I hope that her family is doing okay after getting the bad news. I know that it will cause the makers of Star Wars to change plans for the next movies, but I know that it isn't the biggest thing on the minds of her loved ones.

@n64dd: Just had to go CNN/Fox before I got the notifications. Damn I'm so fucking sorry to hear this news and my condolence to Fisher family and friends. I know Episode 8 is done filming but unless they do reshoots, she completed her parts in Episode 8 and unless they have already planned to kill her off there, Episode 9 will be awkward now.

I know she been doing Crack for years and went to rehab but once you start that shit and quite later, that shit will still give mess up the insides of a Human body and we all know Crack is one hell of a drug.

Also why haven't we heard from Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and George Locus over her death yet? Carrie, Harrison, and Mark were really close together over the decades.

I don't suspect they were very close over the past 20 years. Fisher had habits that neither ford or Lucas approved of.

Its a bit funny, right before xmas my brother and i were talking about how 2016 might be done serial killing. Then George Michael died and now Princess Leia.
