Cars 2, what did you think?

No spoilers or anything. I saw the midnight premiere. I though it was pretty good although Cars 1 was a tiny bit better. It felt like the entire movie was about Mater and the spies. Not enough emphasis on Lightning McQueen and the World Grand Prix.

Well I saw the midnight premiere. :)

I thought the idea to release a sequel to the weakest movie in your history was ridiculous so I didn't bother watching it.

I've never seen Cars, didn't seem that interesting compared to other Pixar movies.

Hard to dislike a Pixar movie, but Cars 2 doesn't look very interesting to me. I did see the first movie and it was okay, but it looks like it was aimed toward an older crowd.

So you think Cars ( by far the worst movie they have done ) was slightly better? Could someone explain to me why they made this movie at all? Outside of all the merchandising cash flow of course.....
