Trucks: Ford Raptor / Velociraptor (best truck ever...), any small offrode Toyota.. Cars: Corvette, Camaro, GT-R (Skyline), Maxima, Cadillac STS.. There are definitely others that I like, but those are some of the nicest IMO...

Anyone who's ever picked up an April issue of consumer report would immediately say Japanese cars. Study after study has shown them to have far less mechanical problems than American on German brands (Volkswagen and Mercedes are the worst)

Nissans are stylish and reliable. And Toyotas are reliable, though very ugly IMO. I would avoid Mitsubishi though. Their engines are great, but everything else is junk. The plastics crack, the paint fades, the metals are very soft.. you get the idea...

Mitsubishi cars don't generally rate as high as the others for the reasons you mention, the last couple of years the Outlander has been Consumer Report's only recommended vehicle from Mitsubishi.

Ford>>>GM I've noticed this over the last few years. I used to think they were "even" but recently they have produced much better cars then their rival. Fiesta,Focus,2011 mustang, Falcon, F150 Ecoboost ect.....

Ford: Escort 97. Didn't like it at first, but, it grew on me. It is not fancy, but, it is just right. Don't want to jinx it further, so I will not keep commenting on my car.magicalclick

To me, Amercian is foreign! :o

Krigen89

Canada makes no cars!! Or are you Europe? Either way, European is the way to go.

EDIT: I just realized that I have NO CLUE if Canada makes cars. Do they???

There are no canadian car companies at this point, no, because Canada signed an agreement decades ago stating we would not do so in exchange for having american car companies' plants here. Big mistake if you ask me, we (canadians) have technology for an all electric car in the 70s/80s but could never build them, so the plans had to be sold... rumor is (never looked it up) that some gas company bought the plans and destroyed them to be sure to continue to sell gas...

There is a Canadian car company, and they make this:
