I've got the 60GB Video iPod that I put in an armband case for when I work out. The case also works great for keeping it protected in my glovebox when I've got it plugged into my car stereo.
i have a nice case for my 60GB ipod it just makes sense really if you don't want to screw it up. Also you don't need to flip over anything to change music as it has see through parts on the front.
